Pakistan and Multan Sultans (MS) skipper Mohammad Rizwan made a truthful admission about the severe criticism he faces on social media for his poor English-speaking skills. India and Pakistani fans troll Rizwan heavily for speaking English fast and without any clarity. There are also several reels being circulated about the Pakistani skipper on social media for the same.
Rizwan, who is currently playing the ongoing 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) season, is always under heavy scrutiny from the media, first due to his team's pathetic display of late in ICC matches, bilateral series and later for his English-speaking skills in pre- and post-match conferences.

However, the wicketkeeper-batter has said that such things hardly affect him and admitted to not knowing the English language as well as he did because he did not get enough education, but he is not at all one percent ashamed of the fact that his English is not good.
“I don’t care [about social media trolling]. I am proud of one thing, and that is whatever I say, I say from my heart. I don’t know English.”
“The only regret is that I did not get enough education, but I am not even one percent ashamed that I can’t speak English despite being the captain of the Pakistan cricket team,” Rizwan said in a press conference.
Mohammad Rizwan regrets not completing his education
The Pakistani skipper further stated that he regrets not completing his education but said his current priority is to play cricket for the country and bring laurels through his performances on the field.
“The demand from me is cricket, not English. There is a regret that I did not complete my education, which is why I struggle in speaking English.”
“Pakistan is not demanding English from me if that is the case, I will leave cricket to become a professor, but I do not have that much time,” he added.
Under Rizwan, Pakistan crashed out of the ICC Champions Trophy event at home in the group stage. Later on, it got blanked 3-0 by a second-string New Zealand team in the ODI series. Speaking about PSL 2025, Rizwan also created an unwanted record during the loss as he became the first captain in PSL 2025 to lose three games while defending scores over 200.
The King's chase of 235 runs was the highest-ever recorded chase by a side that had lost three wickets in the power play in T20 history. Vince's 42-ball hundred was the third-fastest in PSL history and second-fastest in a run chase. On account of this win, KRK is placed second on the PSL 2025 points table.
