Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 29th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) scheduled at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 13.
DC, sitting pretty at the top of the points table, have been unstoppable, while MI are struggling near the bottom.
Led by the astute Axar Patel, DC have been a juggernaut, winning all four matches to claim the top spot. Their latest triumph, six-wicket drubbing of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), showcased their depth. KL Rahul, who scored 93 runs off 53 balls versus RCB, is batting like a man possessed.

On the bowling front, Mitchell Starc, Mukesh Kumar, Vipraj Nigam, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar have done a terrific job. Returning to their fortress, DC are poised to extend their dominance.
Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, are in a rough patch with just one win from five matches. Their recent 12-run loss to RCB despite a bold chase laid bare their batting woes with Rohit Sharma yet to find his groove. Their bowlers also were taken to the cleaners, especially Trent Boult, who conceded 57 runs in his four-over spell.
But MI’s nucleus is still strong. Captain Hardik Pandya has fared well with both and ball. Jasprit Bumrah’s return from injury is a shot in the arm. They have the team to succeed and it is a matter of time before they start clicking.Â
